Postdoctoral Fellows
UC Davis Offers Excellent Training Environments for Postdocs.
We are looking for exceptional candidates who have a PhD, or is in the final stage of obtaining a Ph.D., in bioengineering, biomedical engineering, molecular biology, chemical engineering or related fields. Essential skills include one of the following: molecular cloning, mammalian cell cultures, animal models, single-cell methods, protein purification, and other fundamental skills in molecular biology. We are also looking for candidates with experience in combining quantitative biology and experimental approaches. Preference will be given to candidates who have the necessary background and interest to incorporate multidisciplinary and quantitative approaches in their research. Excellent writing and communication skills in English are required. The candidate should be highly motivated, creative, and excited by the engineering of synthetic systems to address important, fundamental questions in biological engineering.
